Stunning victory away at Barnstaple for Okehampton under 8s

Greame Horn's Okehampton Under 8s traveled to Barnstaple last Sunday 18th November 2007 and won both their matches against their hosts convincingly. The first match was won 6-1 with two tries scored by Okehampton's Jack Ogbourne, Leon Horn and Greg Davies each. A great photo of one of Leon's tries was captured here by Anne Haygarth. In the second game Okehampton won 3-1 with Greg Daniels, Ethan Hoggins and Angus Bond all scoring a try. Angus's try was particularly noteworthy as this was his first cap for the team and thus he shows much potential. The team's second coach Tina Adams commented that the team's strengths on the day were excellent tagging and support.
